Joe took up gaming at a very young age. Growing up playing Stratego, Chess and Risk and eventually saved enough money to purchase the original Axis and Allies. Gaming as an adult has been more than just accruing games, but also friends. He founded Fling.con off of inspiration from those friends. He is a husband of 20 years and a father of 4 for 19 years. Kelvin is a Sheriff's Deputy with the Comal County Sheriff's Office. His love of board games was sparked while working in the Jail. He met Joe and agreed to try out Axis and Allies and it was all she wrote from there. He’s been hooked ever since. That was about 8 years ago. He doesn't really have a particular genre of game that he prefers. He really just enjoys the hobby and plays all the games he can. Dave started playing board games in Oct of 2018 when a giant of a friend (Mr. Joe Fling) invited him to what he thought was going to be a game of chutes and ladders. Ended up playing Minerva and that sparked some interest. His first game purchase was Teotihucan: City of Gods, which he still love to this day. He lost all sense of control when the same friend introduced him to Kickstarter. Now he is crack deep into board games and loving it. He is a huge Queen's enthusiast and mostly enjoy mid-weight games, but he does play the occasional burn your brain Lacerda game. Currently he is playing Roll Player Adventure, Massive Darkness 2, Tiny Epic Dungeons, Lost Legends, and Thunderstone Advance.
Adam is a scientist working in medical research for the government. He's been gaming since he was a kid and enjoys all genres. He's been married to his lovely wife for 23 years, and together they have adopted 3 kids from China. He loves introducing people of all generations to board games, and his current favorites are Brass Birmhingham, Terraforming Mars, Great Western Trail, Bruges, and Dune: Imperium.
Jim was interested in board games from early childhood, starting with the classics like go-fish, Uno, and Yahtzee with his family.
While in school, board games were a central part to his family dynamic and still are to this day. As he left high school into the adult world board games took a back seat until the premiere of Wil Wheaton's TabletTop. Since then Jim's love of board games as blazed anew having played games as complex as Star Trek Frontiers but still has not said 'no' to a game of Uno or Yahtzee. All the while on an continuing mission to bring family and community closer together through board games, the way he grew up.

Wes is an old school gamer. He began with RPGs at the age of 13 and has continued gaming since. His favorite continues to be RPG and RPG Table Top gaming, but he thoroughly enjoys games of all styles. His favorites include: Settlers of Catan, Carcassone, Power Grid, Puerto Rico, Robo Rally, and Flux. Always ready to try something new, the one thing that is for sure is that Wes is not done learning and enjoying new games.
