ATTEND FLING.CON? LEAVE A REVIEW!

We all took off work and school to take the kids to a board game convention. We set family goals every year to play a certain number of games. Last year we met our goal, so we took some time to go to Fling Con! Two days of playing games as a family and with others, shopping second-hand games, seeing vendors, checking out new games in the lending library, previewing games not on the market yet, and winning door prizes. We won 4 new games and a die cage! 

Playing games is part of our family culture. We love it for the relationship building, soft skills learned, as well as other educational purposes.

I just got back from New Braunfels where I was invited to attend Fling Con as a special guest. I brought 2 prototypes of Cysmic - Board Game to the convention for final public playtesting before my Kickstarter launches in April.

This convention was ran smoothly and efficiently with an amazing attention to detail. Joe Fling and his crew organized the event and I can say it was a great success. Not just for them, but for me and Cysmic as well. I had some of the best positive feedback I have gotten from any convention and people were genuinely interested and supportive of the game. It was a great weekend for sure. To Joe and his team, thanks for inviting me and treating me so well!

 An absolutely unparalleled convention. Have yet to find another that includes raffles and food in the price of the ticket. Had a blast as always, learned a new game and can't wait for the next Fling.con! 

 The January 27-28 event was awesome! So much fun, so full of life and energy. It is obvious that you, your staff and all your families put an incredible amount of work into making this a great event for all. Great job, all of you! And thank you. 

 It was the first time for my friend and I to attend Fling Con. We are from San Antonio, but the drive to the location was worth it. We took some of our own games and checked some out from the library. I appreciated the variety of games to check out and play. It was such a friendly event and we had some people join us in playing some games. It was a well-planned event and I was impressed that food, snacks, and drinks were included. I got a chance to buy a couple of games from the bazaar. I look forward to getting tickets to the next event! 

 I had great time! The game library was awesome!! All the staff are very friendly and personable. I had a very enjoyable conversation with Dario about gaming. He didn’t have to do that with me. He made a point to make me feel welcomed. They also feed you!! I didn’t have to leave my game other than to use the bathroom. They do all this for the community of gamers. Can’t wait for the next one. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work to make this a wonderful experience. - 11/10 Stars 

 First time attendees, but definitely won't be the last. Really enjoyed that there was such a wide variety of games to try out and make new friends to hopefully game with again soon. Between the selection of games to borrow, games being sold by attendees, large number of vendors, and plenty of snacks, food, and raffles there was a lot to do and definitely feel the ticket price was worth it. 

 Yet another two days of fun, food, games, and prizes for me, my kiddo, *and* our circle of friends we've made at past FlingCons. A community institution. Oh!-- and great for vendors. We bought from several. 

 We had an amazing time. Such an amazing team that runs this Con.
This was our second FlingCon and it gets better each time. We can’t wait for the next one.
