This is a one-shot, play-test adventure for 4-6 characters using character classes from "80's Adventures" by Dice Dungeons. Because this is a play-test, you need to have experience playing with D&D 5e and/or 2024 rules (game will be run w/ 2024) with 7th level characters. Characters will be provided. Players are asked to fill in a survey about the playability of their characters and feedback will be sent to Dice Dungeons. This game is NOT affiliated with or sponsored by Dice Dungeons. I am running this as an investor in their Kickstarter campaign trying to help them make the best product possible.
When you were just a child you were a war refugee. You spent several years in the camp and made a handful of really good friends. Y'all ran around creating your own adventures and having the time of your lives. It was enough to make you forget that you were a refugee. When the war ended, you all went back to your original homes and despite the earnest promises of youth, you haven't seen each other again.
15 years later you've come into your own as an adventurer making your way through the world. Somehow, some way, one of your childhood friends managed to find you and send you a message. Goldenbloom has invited you to his hometown and says he's invited all of the others as well. You have a destination and a date. You get your gear packed up and start your trek. Only when you get on the road does your initial excitement wear off and you begin to wonder... How did Goldenbloom find me? He and I never really got along, so why did he invite me? I don't remember why, but I seem to remember that I really didn't like him. The closer you get, the more nervous you get about Goldenbloom and the more excited you get about the others.
Kobolds Ate My Baby (NOT D&D)

4-6 Player seats available (Great for beginners)
Kobolds Ate My Baby! is a humorous, rules-light tabletop role-playing game where players take on the roles of dim-witted, gluttonous kobolds. The central premise revolves around their King Torg (who is very tall) and the constant, often disastrous, attempts by the kobolds to fulfill his demands, which frequently involve acquiring "babies" (of any species) for his insatiable appetite.
The game is known for its chaotic and silly nature, with a strong emphasis on improvisation and over-the-top character actions. Kobolds are prone to stupidity, cowardice, and extreme hunger, leading to hilarious and often deadly situations. The core mechanic is simple and quick, allowing for fast-paced, narrative-driven gameplay where the main goal is usually to survive the king's wrath, each other's incompetence, and the myriad dangers of the outside world – all while trying to satisfy their own monstrous appetites and, of course, find more babies for King Torg.
The Goblin's Grumbling Grimoire, D&D 5e (2014 rules lite)

Fling.con Summer '25 Shrine Auditorium in the D&D section
This is a one shot (Great for beginners, but all are welcome) I will have premade characters and extra dice for new players to use.
The Goblin's Grumbling Grimoire
Concept: The party is hired by a slightly eccentric, but kind, local wizard or scholar to retrieve a stolen spellbook from a nearby (and notoriously messy) goblin cave.
Killer Breakfast style D&D 5e(2014) Advanced players only!w

Saturday, July 12th 2-8pm
Fling.con Summer '25 Shrine Auditorium in the D&D section
Player seats available 6-10
Players of this game are expected to bring a premade 3rd level character from the classes and races of the 2014 players handbook (no other classes, or races will be allowed). Players must have their own PHB!
The idea of this game is a no holds barred fight to the death (think Hunger Games). Winner takes the glory of being alive! Warning: come to this session expecting your character to die! When you are out, you are out!
Fun part: you will be given 100,000 "P" at the beginning of the session to spend as you will in a 1for 1 gold or experience point expenditure. Example: "I spend 100,000 xp and am now a level 12 Barbarian with basic equipment, or I raise my Bard to level 9 and buy a "Horn of Valhalla" and plus one leather armor. This session will run best if players come prepared with ideas what they want to level/shop. I am a very flexible DM, so if you have an idea for a magic item that does not exist in any rule book come prepared to explain it, I might let it in (especially if it's quirky).
NUkED: Life in the Wastelands

TBD

This one-shot is an introduction to the NUkED RPG--a Game of Magic, Mutants, and Mayhem in Post-Apocalyptic Texas--by legendary game designer Malix Nystul. No familiarity with the system is necessary. Characters will be provided.
It's not easy to make a living in Texxon--the name still hangs on even after the fall of society--but you and your friends find a way by taking jobs, some of them ethical. People call you "troubleshooters"--if someone makes trouble, you shoot 'em.
No one knows much about "Castle Zargo" except it's a prepper fortress that's been hanging on since the before-times. Very few go in--only Pre-Gens, as we call 'em, folks that ain't got mutations--and no one ever comes out. They gotta bunch of pre-Fall tech keepin' 'em safe. The biker gangs learned the hard way to leave them alone, and since they don't mess with us on the outside, we don't mess with them.
They've got their go-betweens, but that ain't the kinda work we do. Something must be up for them to need our kind of scum. Something big ...
Buckle those Swashes! (Stealthily ... )

This one-shot is a playtest of "Cannibals & Clipper-Ships: the Official RPG of Master Bones Jangle & the Voodoo Island Cannibals'--an innovative d13-based system centered on swashbuckling, rum-swilling, transdimensional, magical singing pirates with 'humanitarian' tendencies. (Don't worry, the cannibalism is mostly tongue-in-cheek.) No familiarity with the system is needed; characters and dice will be provided. And yes, you read that right: We use thirteen-sided dice (and a whole bunch of d12s). Participants will be asked to fill out a brief survey afterwards and will be put on a list to receive discounts when the game is released.
Scenario Syllabus: YARRR! Welcome to the life of a Cannibal Pirate. A rival sea-dog, the nefarious Jean Le Fleur has kidnapped an ally of your crew, and you'll stop at nothing to get her back. Rumor has it Le Fleur has put into port and most of his scallywags have gone to drink at a seaside tavern, leaving their captive below decks, guarded by a skeleton crew. This is your chance: Under the cover of darkness, slip in, rescue your friend, and slip away before the rest of Le Fleur's sea-rats get word of it and life gets messy. What could possibly go wrong?

Fling.con Summer '25 Shrine Auditorium in the D&D section
Player seats available for 4-5. Players will be given D&D5e (2014/original rules) characters at level 3. Some D&D knowledge is helpful to play magic-user classes - otherwise, new players are welcome to play the martial-oriented classes.
Have you watched the movie 'Stranger Things' and thought, "I'd like to play D&D with them!". Well, we won't have the lovable characters from the Netflix hit show but we will have the second-best thing: a module written by Will the Wise himself! 'Hunt for the Thessalhydra' will quickly engage the players in a story of heroes for hire charting dangerous territories to destroy the menacing Thessalhydra . The goal is real simple: bring back the head of the elusive Thessalhydra and become heroes of the realm (as well as a few coins richer)!

A Dungeon World 1E one shot for up to 4 players, pre-gen characters available, difficulty level will be adjusted for overall experience level.
Welcome to the world of Capta on the continent of A' Lesea in the special place called Downonyourlucktonshireville. You find yourself in a world of fantasy, magic and a whole lot of other people just as confused as you. You're part of the D-listers; people who have not been seen by a deity to gain overpowered abilities. Instead you and other D's will be rushed through a crash course in adventuring just to gain a skill out of pity from our contracted lesser deity. Afterwards you are sent on your first quest to the Town of Passim , a place so random that the players will assist in the creation of this one of a kind and ever-changing location. There are relics hidden somewhere in there and if you come back alive, you can get a proper isekai intro.
